Super Mario Super Art Show opens this Friday

Super mario super art show

Mamma Mia, the Super Mario Super Art Show opens this Friday (September 7th) at The Bottleneck Gallery in New York. Curated by Chogrin the show will feature artwork based on Nintendo’s beloved plumber in all his incarnations including the Bob Hoskins movie and everything in between.

From the live action sections of the animated tv show to all his appearances in numerous video games and arcade cabinets. Mario, his brother Luigi and pals will all be represented in some shape or form from pixel art to paintings the bros will be represented well.

With my contribution to the show I will be offering a one of a kind framed wooden print and also giclee prints in an edition of 40 through Bottleneck’s own printing service so there should be options for anyone interested in picking up my piece.

So hopefully you can make it to the show at some point but if you can’t the artwork will be also available online through Bottleneck Gallery’s website.

All in all, the Super Mario Super Art Show should cover all forms of media that the portly plumber has appeared in and is worth checking out for any Mario fans out there.
