Here's an up and coming show that I'm involved with which starts next month (Dec 14th) at the Bottleneck Gallery in NYC.

teaming up with the good folks at Silver Screen Society the show focuses on creating Alternate Endings to myriad of popular films, from classics to cult status films this show should be one not to miss.

The good folks at Present Joys have released the first issue of Cagoule Magazine which is a more adult version of sister publication Anorak Magazine. I was asked to produce 2 full page illustrations to go with an article on a brief history of the bra.

Along with the cagoule illustrations, there has been some other new illustrations added to my portfolio.

First Collaborative Post on illostribute

illostribute has put up the first of its collaborative posts which focuses on the illustrative skills of J.C. Leyendecker. Each contributor (including myself) has to interpret one of Leyendecker's works and with such talents as Tim Gough, Emmanuelle Walker and illostribute's creator Toby Thane Neighbors looks like this site will be something to keep an eye on.

The TOY made one exhibition is a celebration of TOY becoming a year old, which is being held at UNDPLUS in Berlin, Germany. with new work from all TOY members including myself this one day event will be something to behold.

For the Folks who can't make it to see the new work on offer, have no fear as this website (and others) will be updated with my new hand generated work appearing at the show so nobody misses out.

My screen print has now been put up on the working proof website, this is a three colour screen print on 285gsm fabriano so a nice thick quality paper in the colour ivory.

and with every print sold, 15% of sales will be donated to the 'kids in need foundation'. So it also helping a good cause as well.

Unbreakable now available to buy at howies

The good folks at howies have now put this addition into their catalogue, my 'unbreakable' design now available to buy from howies stores and also through their online store here.

Now before anyone rushes off to buy one there is one catch, and that is its for kids only. So if you want your little 'uns to be the best decked out kids on the street or if you can squeeze into a smaller size knock yourself out. Maybe if this is popular, just maybe howies might print an adult version, who knows.

Zine A is the first in a series of zines by Tor Press, each zine will focus on one individual letter of the alphabet where artists/ illustrators/ designers create imagery around the letter stated for the zine.

Zine A features imagery created by the 23 selected artists/ illustrators/ designers (including myself) around the theme of the letter A.

Story Motel Exhibition

The Story Motel exhibition is a collection of artist's books and zines created by participating Artists/illustrators from around the world. These self published works range from the low level zine to different forms of artist's books. In sort its a celebration of the book form as a means of artistic discovery.

With the Mail Me Art book now available to buy from Amazon and other book stores, I thought I would bring up that the Mail Me Art Exhibition is going to start this Friday.

As far as I know all mail art pieces are going to be there including the ones that never made it to the book.

all pieces are also available to buy, so if you go you could be walking off with a 'one of a kind' piece form both professionals and amateurs a like.

Illustration for the NYT blog 'The Choice'

The NY Times contacted me on doing a logo illustration for an up and coming blog called 'The Choice' which deals with the options that students have on finance for entering into college.

The writer of the blog was on "The Today show" talking about 'The Choice' with some screenshots of the blog and of my design thrown in for good measure.

This is Toy is a collective of illustrators for commissioned projects. working in the range of collaborative projects involving motion, print and screen.

The website has now gone live and showcases fantastic work from the likes of Jean Jullien, Jon Boam, Chris Martin, Chris Grey, Nicolas Tual and many more including myself. I am honoured to be part of an amazing group of talented illustrators.

Mail Me Art book now available for pre-order

Earlier this year I mailed my design to the folks at mail me art, i was emailed around about march that my image design was selected to be featured in the book and then i heard nothing about how far they are with it until now.

you can now pre-order the book off of Amazon (here, this is the UK Amazon) which will be available in march 2009 followed by an exhibition at the Red Gate Gallery London (from the 3rd to the 9th of April) where all posted artworks are available to buy.

the book features work from the likes of Jon Burgerman, Catalina Estrada, Dan May, Jeff Miracola, Michael Slack, Kristian Olson, and many more.

moo.com gives you the control to select the image and on what you want it to go on.

New Website is now up and Running

I have finally put the finishing touches to this now new and live website. What was planned for the new site design was one that was clean, easier to update and also easier to maintain the other elements featured in the site. The site is now easier to navigate around with no more going back to the main menu page which was one of my primary goals to change from the start.

So take a look around and check out the new work in the two new gallery sections which go under the titles of drawn and graphic.

Just as the heading states above you can now choose from a selection of my designs and place them on anything that moo offers, such as greeting cards, postcards and even stickers. It seems ages since I last added anything to the news section, so just to start off i have made a blog featuring work which is not currently on this website. which can be found here. Just as a heads up, I might change the site in the near future, but this has not been decided yet so I might update the gallery with the new work featured on the blog. but do keep and eye on the blog as this will probably be updated more frequently with new work.

Hopefully, more work will come from either The Guardian or another source. I have also contributed to an online Magazine Called Maguila and will feature in their next issue.
